Hello all. I finished part of a drawing today. It wasn’t my intent… but this woman has suddenly struck me as exactly how Barbra Streisand would look were she black and slightly fuller figured.
I like Barbra, so this doesn’t bother me. It’s all in that nose.
I kind of want to have her saying something. A speech bubble of sorts? I have been encouraged, recently, to start incorporating vector art into my graphite renderings. Any suggestions, anyone?
Oh. Also – I did this in a place where art supplies are in short supply. It was done with a mechanical pencil and a rolled up coffee filter. Let that be a testament to not letting your surroundings inhibit your potential!
